Sales Development Representative (SDR)

About the role

RouteMyOrder is software from the team behind The eCom Show. It sends each online order to the right outlet automatically, for businesses that sell on Shopify from more than one location, from restaurant chains to retail brands.

We're hiring a Sales Development Representative. Your job is to start conversations with businesses that need RouteMyOrder and book demos for the team.

The role is full-time and hybrid: you'll mostly work remotely, with occasional visits to our office in Kozhikode.

What you'll do

• Find businesses that fit: multi-outlet brands selling online, in India and the Gulf.
• Reach out by email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and phone, and follow up.
• Qualify leads and book demos.
• Keep every conversation in our CRM, so nothing slips.
• Tell us what you hear from prospects, so we can improve the product and the pitch.

Who we're looking for

• You write and speak clear English. Malayalam helps; Arabic is a bonus.
• You're comfortable contacting people who don't know you yet, and you don't give up after one message.
• You're organised and can track dozens of conversations at once.
• Sales, business development or customer-facing experience helps, but it isn't required if you can show us how you'd do it.

Nice to have

• Experience selling software (SaaS) or services to businesses.
• An understanding of ecommerce, Shopify or restaurant operations.
